·1 Tree·
23rd January 2010 by jira in every-everything“Think about one tree and what it means to you?” was the brief that Bostock and Pollitt, London based design agency asked illustrators and graphic designers to come up with great ideas and pictures to feature in the promotional for Arjowiggins Graphic’s new range of recycled papers launching.
My piece is chosen to be part of the One Tree booket, using their template in which a number one forms the basis for the tree. Here are my words and thought behind the idea - There was a tree where me and my sister used to play as little girls. There, we could talked and tell our secrets to each other. I realize now that I wasn’t telling my secrets to the tree, but to my sister. She was my special tree and will always be. Do you remember that my beloved sis?

It’s all hand collage and lines drawing which are the things I always tend to do when I have ample time to making illustrations and it’s always fun!
